Berna Watch Hofer provides a three-year warranty on all watches purchased directly from berna1864.com. The warranty is valid only with a properly dated and completed warranty certificate.
During the warranty period, we cover defects in the watch movement, hands, and dial due to material or craftsmanship issues under normal use. Covered repairs, including parts and labor, are performed at no charge.
If a watch cannot be repaired, we will provide a replacement of comparable specifications. The replacement watch carries a full three-year warranty from its issue date.
A CHF 15 return shipping fee applies to all warranty services.
What is not covered
Battery, case, crystal, strap, buckle, bracelet, stem, or crown
Damage from accidents, improper handling, neglect, or normal wear
Water damage (unless specifically marked water-resistant and properly maintained)
Unauthorized repairs by third-party watchmakers
Loss, theft, or damage from natural disasters, shocks, or crushing
Out-of-warranty service
If your issue falls outside warranty coverage or the warranty has expired, repairs may be available for a fee determined after inspection. Fees include parts, labor, and return shipping.
Filing a Warranty Claim
Contact warranty@berna.watch with your order details before shipping.
Receive a Repair Authorization Number (RAN) and instructions.
Include the RAN with your shipment — watches received without authorization will be returned unserviced at your expense.
